Elastomers

Emulsifiers for elastomers were the main products made by Resitec when it was established in 1979. Since then, it has been investing steadily in upgrading this segment, enhancing the applications for its products in order to offer its customers the best emulsifiers for their polymerization processes. Since 1980, Resitec has been investing in the maintenance of a forest reserve, from which some of the raw materials are extracted for its products targeting the elastomers market.

Over the past twenty years, Resitec has selected the pine species offering the best reaction to dehydrogenation. It also developed a refining process that led to the development of a special dehydrogenation material. Additionally, it is engaged in on-going research projects designed to fine-tune polymerization processes.
