Start-up of mixed emulsifier production based on tall oil.

1996
Brasilac goes public, now called Resitol.
Resitec launches strategy to become the only producer of emulsifiers in Brazil.
50% of Resitol shares offered to Agroquímica Braido, which renders fatty acids from animal grease.
New acidulation plant built in Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil.
Through purchasing 36% of the shares issued by Dalquim (Sulfato Três Barras Group) Resitec ensures a steady supply of BLS and CTO, cutting its logistics costs through using aluminum sulfate provided by the Sulfato Group.
1997
Signature of a long-term supply agreement with Petroflex.
Market share increases to 100%.
1999
Resitec purchases 12% of the Petroflex shares.
Joint venture with the Socer Group.
Sale of 60% of Resiflor to the Socer Group.
Incorporation of Resinas Tropicais, producing tropical rosin with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons.
Establishment of the Resitec Research Center (CPR) at Campinas, São Paulo State, Brazil.
Development of Crude Sterol extraction technology for CTO and CTO pitch.

Patent application filed for the technology extracting crude sterols from pines.
2001
Second patent application filed for crude sterol extraction technology.
Sale of emulsifiers to Southeast Asia begins.

Patent granted for crude sterol extraction technology.
Incorporation of Arr-Maz do Brasil, joint venture with Arr-Maz Custom Chemicals (USA) to produce Anticaking and Antidusting agents in Brazil, for use in fertilizers.
Start-up of pilot-plant (100 kg/hour) using the crude sterols extraction technology patented by Resitec.
2003
Start-up of commercial plant (1,000 kg/hour) using the crude sterols extraction technology patented by Resitec.
2004
Start-up of the Arr-Maz do Brasil (AMB) plant at Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil.
2006
Resitec joins South Africa's Chemical Services Group.
