A high viscosity (ISO 15,000) polymerized plant-based product, Resilub L 15000 is recommended to replace Poly-IsoButylene (PIB), lubricants and asphalt-based greases. Its use is recommended together with mineral oil at controlled concentrations, offering a variety of benefits:
- Increased viscosity and a better mineral oil viscosity rating, bringing it up from ISO 32 to ISO 100, for example;
- Less oil viscosity variation due to temperature changes;
- Enhanced lubrication power, even for heavier operations, with a lower attrition coefficient, minimizing wear and tear and reducing the consumption of lubricated parts;
- At low temperatures, the oil molecules contract, expanding at high temperatures, offsetting lube-oil viscosity variations;
